Management of chronic kidney disease is an urgent task the global health care system, as untreated, it leads to partial or permanent loss function. Standardized herbal remedies are highly effective and relatively safe. That why suggested pay attention already known for treatment genitourinary diseases expand indications their use. The aim research study nephroprotective properties standardized composition BNO 2103, which active ingredient Canephron N ®, in a model renal failure rats. Materials methods. An experimental was performed on 42 male white outbred rats weighing 150–200 g, were divided into 4 groups. Nephropathy induced by single subcutaneous injection 0.7 ml/kg 2.5 % potassium chromate solution. Animals 3 groups received 2103 at dose 33.0 mg/kg prednisolone 1.9 intragastrically daily 20 days. After animals sacrificed, kidneys obtained studied with standard electronic microscopy Results. normalized ultrastructural picture kidneys, however, presence minor pathological signs. reduced destruction basement membranes, improved organelle structure increased metabolic processes podocytes, endotheliocytes, reducing manifestations degenerative-dystrophic changes them. superior reference drug prednisolone. Conclusions. showed significant effect, normalizing failure. This effect most likely related biologically substances powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, activity. results allow us consider promising agent disease.
